The North Texas Caledonian Pipes & Drums are actively seeking piping and drumming students for individual and class instruction. Piping students should be at least 8 years of age, drumming students must be 14 years of age.

Candidates for the drumming program should have a knowledge of basic drumming rudiments, the ability to play basic rudiments, and a minimum of 5 years experience playing a drum as part of band (marching band, orchestra, jazz band, etc,).

Classes are structured to advance players, from beginners to experienced,  through a series of classes.  The goal of the program is for a student to acquire the skills and become a performing member of the North Texas Caledonian Pipes & Drums.   Instruction is by members of the band each of whom has many years of teaching experience.

Contact one of the instructors above by email or phone for more information.

Classes are scheduled on an individual basis for bagpipes.   Drumming instruction is held Monday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Farmers Branch, Texas.  Refer to the practice location for directions.
